Aelorann

Aelorann (AY-lor-ann) an Ellandrian time piece featuring an orrery places on top of a miniature sundial to measure the passage of time. Two tiny glowing orbs representing Ellandria’s twin suns cast shadows on the etched surface below. Four smaller spheres, mimicking the moons, circle the suns, their positions influencing the delicate interplay of light and shadow that mark the hours. Invented by Clann Gael.

Aeloranns come in many shapes and sizes. Some are tall and encased in wooden cabinets, similar to a grandfather clock, others are large and sit on tables or even in gardens.
