Shaun wrote:Cute, like a children's book
A story from the perspective of a rooster about not knowing where babies come from. (Yeah, I wasn't expecting it either....but a cute listen.)
Sara wrote:Reggie Fowl finally has to cross the road to take on new responsibilities after the ladies in his life become broody and go on strike. So Reggie decides to try the 12 ways to Woo Your Mate, and recruits the others in to help, even Sweetie gets involved. This is a well written, fun children's story, with a lot of laughs along the way.
Best book in the series
I have listened to this series in order and I think each one gets better than the last. This book follows the educated and resourceful Rooster named Reginald and he and his fellow roosters try to figure out why the hens don't want to give the farmer their eggs and why they won't get up from their nests. Not going to give it away, but the ending is very heart warming. Props to the narrator who handled the chicken and farmyard animal voices perfectly. This has been a fun series and I am glad I gave it a chance. This audio book was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review
